Call meeting to order
Pledge of Allegiance
Present: Jim Tholen, Keith Emerson, Gary Astleford, Bruce Pederson,
Lloyd Hagemann
Absent: None
Project # 5 – East Side Pond/Industrial Park Improvements
Motion by Emerson Seconded by Hagemann to call the public hearing to
order at 7:00pm, all ayes.
The purpose of the public hearing is to hear comments from the public on
the project, and to answer questions on the assessments.
Council must adopt the Resolution to send the special assessments to the
county at the 6% interest. Each property owner will have until December
26th to pay the assessment or it will be put on the 2008 taxes.
Tom Klemenhagen was in attendance and explained the final assessments
for the project.
Tom answered a few questions from the audience.
After all present had an opportunity to be heard a motion by Tholen
seconded by Hagemann to close the public hearing at 7:09pm, all ayes.
A Resolution was presented by Emerson seconded by Pederson to approve
the final assessments on the Industrial Park project at the 6% interest
for 15 years. When put to a vote the Resolution passed unanimously.
Project # 362 – New Development (Copperfields)
Tom Klemenhagen talked to Tom Klecker about the time frame to respond to
the request and if we don’t review the plot now can we review it later.
Klecker was also going to check to see if the county has to notify us
when they receive a plot to approve. We have not received anything from
the attorney at this time.
Project # 219 – State Hwy 27
Ron Kleinschmidt was in attendance to explain the letters that were sent
out for the three individuals that were not hooked up to water and
sewer.
Brian Helberg was not hooked up because he needs an easement to hookup.
Roger Ackervick was not hooked up because he put in a new system.
Council will need to consider what time frame they will require for
Roger to hookup.
Wither’s Building was notified and will include it in their plans to fix
up the building.
Motion by Emerson Seconded by Tholen to adjourn at 7:41pm, all ayes.
